“The Hardest Hit” Public Meeting – 22nd Oct – 2pm

Several weeks ago, a coalition of disabled charities, campaigners and celebrities staged a march in Westminster to highlight the impact that the cuts to benefits and services were having on this section of the community.

On Saturday 22 October 2011, the same group has called for nationwide events to take place to highlight those who are The Hardest Hit.

BPACC has organised a public meeting on that day and invited local organisations representing disabled people and their families to have their say and bring along information and literature. It will take place from 2-4pm, Large Meeting Room, Bournemouth Library, The Triangle, Bournemouth.

The aim of the meeting is to hear the views of those who are most affected by the changes being proposed in the Welfare Reform Bill and the cuts that have already taken place. We will also discuss how best we can put pressure on local MPs and councillors to take up our concerns.
